Does Reality Makes Sense

The trouble with fiction is that it makes too much sense
- Jhon Rivers

According to Jhon Rivers reality doesn't seem to make much sense. The more we try to understand nature the more things we get which makes no sense. We can realize it by observing various experiments in the field like quantum mechanics where usually nothing comes out as you expect it to be. So scientists start to make the claim that reality is uncertain so it should not necessarily make sense.

But is it true? Can we really say that reality doesn't make much sense?
Well, I think the answer is "No". We say something is not making any sense when we are not able to understand its mechanism and logic behind it. Of course, everything in our universe works on some kind of mechanism, so it should make sense when we understand it.  Let's give a look at the history to understand it.

Before and even during the time of Galileo Galilei the picture of the universe was very clear, which was that we are at the centre of the universe and all the stars, planets and the sun revolve around us as if it is made for us only, and it even makes sense because we see sunrise and sunset. Even today we say sunrise and sunset as if we are at the centre. But when Galileo made the observation that the natural satellites of Jupiter revolve around Jupiter and not the earth, he realized that not all the objects in the universe revolve around the earth. And it was the matter of time until he came to the conclusion that all the planets including our earth also revolve around the sun. Now during that time it really doesn't make much sense because everything from eath was seen in such way that we are at the centre so one could have said that, it is because reality doesn't make much sense. But later Sir  Issac Newton gave us the law of gravitation and then everything started to make sense. Then later scientists like Einstein, De-Broglie and Heisenberg gave us the explanation for something which was not making any sense.

So what does it mean? Actually everytime we discover something new which was never seen or observed before it makes no sense because at that time as we don't have much idea about it. But as the time progress, people start to give the explanation behind it by studying it in detail and eventually we get something which starts to make sense. So it is just a matter of time when someone will give the explanation behind something which doesn't make sense today.
But is there any dead end? Is there any point where we can really say that reality doesn't make much sense? The truth is we don't know, this is one of the biggest mysteries of our universe.

But wait, let's not give up so soon. We all know that our reasoning and thoughts come from our mind, so I think we can have some idea, about that dead end if we study our brain.
The main purpose behind the creation of brain is to survive. When a species like us have an organ like the brain it makes that species able to understand its environment so that the survival of that species become easier.
So if the purpose of our brain is to make our survival easy, so there must be a limit to it where we are at the top. Fortunately, there is no such point, even if we harness the whole energy of our earth and even our solar system, we still need to move out due to increase in population and energy usage, which for now seem in a way that this phenomenon will never end until the end of the universe ( or it may end, we don't have any answer yet ).

So it all has come to this, that we may have some big boundaries in front of us, but until and unless we know about it, it will be the best and most logical thing to say that "Reality does make sense"
